Proleung Khmer (Khmer Soul) is a community-driven initiative dedicated to commemorating the Khmer genocide. April 17, 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the takeover of Phnom Penh by the Khmer Rouge and this year in particular we will be celebrating "A 50-Year Journey of Remembrance and Resilience." Through a series of cultural events, performances, and educational programs, we honor the lives lost, celebrate the resilience of survivors, and uplift the Khmer American community.

Proleung Khmer's mission is to preserve Khmer heritage, foster education, and inspire future generations by creating spaces for remembrance, healing, and celebration. From traditional performances and historical exhibits to engaging panel discussions and literary arts, Proleung Khmer is a testament to the enduring spirit and contributions of the Khmer diaspora.

Join us in this impactful journey of remembrance and unity as we celebrate the strength of our community and the richness of Khmer culture.
